Thread yarn through sts on needle and secure.
P97 – Tail
Work tail by making a twisted cord out of four strands of yarn, beginning with the yarn 20in (50cm) long. Tie a knot at folded end for external tail, then another tight knot 1/4in (5mm) away from it. Trim ends beyond tight knot. Gather round cast-on stitches and insert tight knot of tail, the external tail will be on the right side, and pull stitches tight and sew through knot on wrong side to secure.
