Step 4
Now place a small piece of hemming web a little larger than the hole on the inside of the garment, covering the repair. This is to fuse the fibres in place. Cover with a Teflon cooking sheet or baking parchment and press with a warm iron (H). Move the iron over the covering for about ten seconds. Remove the covering and check that the fibres have melded into the hole.
Step 5
To finish, press a larger patch of iron-on interfacing over the repaired hole, also on the inside of the garment, to reinforce the repair (I).
