Cable pattern 
Row 2: (P2, k4, p2, k8, p2, k4, p2). 

P47 – 1st column 
Ending with a row 1 of pattern works well but is not critical. 
Work the cables and then work to the last 8 sts of the round. This stitch and its increase * remain with the main part of the glove. Work the remaining 7 sts of the round. Reserve these 7 sts and the 9 sts from the start of the next round on a thread or safety pins for the little finger. 16 sts. Cont by knitting into the front and back of the next stitch *, pulling the yarn tight behind the little finger stitches (the 2 inc sts marked * will form the forchette between the third and the little finger)
Work 2 or more rounds depending on how much lower the little finger is than other fingers, keeping the pattern correct on these 52 sts. 
Work fingers starting with the little finger. Place rem sts on holders or waste yarn with ends facing little finger. 
With palm facing place the 7 front sts reserved for the little finger on a dpn and the back 9 sts on another dpn. 
Pick up 1 st from bet the sts **tcast on 2 rows previously, k the picked-up st, then the 7 sts of the first dpn and then the 9 sts from the back dpn. 17 sts (for the little finger). 
Work in the round on these stitches for 2½in (6cm). 
Note: All finger lengths are average and can be adjusted as required. 
Third (ring) finger 
With palm facing, take 7 sts from the front and 9 from the back (16 sts) (this should take you to the centre of the cable panel). 
Left glove 
Cast on 66 sts, setting cable as folls: (p2k2) 9 times (24-st cable bracket), k2, p2, k2.
